Norma Rosina EllenWALTERSOf Long Load. Former head of English at Bucklers Mead School and head of Student Services at Yeovil College passed away peacefully on the 30th June 2023 in Wessex House Care Home, aged 93 years. A beloved wife of the late Bill Walters, also a much loved mother and grandmother. The funeral service will take place on Friday 21st July 2pm at Yeovil Crematorium. Family flowers only please. Donations in Memory of Norma for U3A can be sent Co Irish and Denman, Palmer Street, South Petherton, TA14 5AD (cheques made payable to charity)

Norma was an inspiring teacher, a most respected colleague and wise counsellor to both colleagues, students and friends at Yeovil College. A woman of integrity, compassion and also great fun.
I feel most privileged to have had Norma as an inspiration, confidant, teacher, colleague and dear friend in my life.
